The Dell Mini 3 has already been released in Asia and Dell is looking to make it available in other countries. So far, they have developed agreements and partnerships with AT&T (United States), Vodafone (Europe, Australia, New Zealand), China Mobile (China), Claro (Brazil), Starhub and M1 (Singapore) as well as Maxis (Malaysia) to sell the phone. There has been some whispers that the phone’s specs may be changed before it hits at least some of these markets, in order to make it more competitive in those countries.

The Mini 3 is a 3G, Android that has pretty good specs. As it is, it comes with a 3.5 inch HD widescreen touch screen display, Bluetooth connectivity, built-in GPS, Mini-USB port and Multi-touch UI. The phone also has a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus, handwriting recognition and a MicroSD card slot. Users can add a ton or memory, 3.2 GB. The Mini 3’s measurements are 58 x 122 x 11.7 mm and it weighs 103 grams. As stated above, an official and definitive announcement has not been made regarding whether or not the specs will change and in what markets these changes might be made.

The announcement of the Dell Mini 3 generated a pretty good deal of excitement and buzz amongst those who follow the mobile phone market. Many people were curious about whether or not Dell would be able to successfully pull off a quality mobile using the Android platform. As stated earlier, the reviews have been mixed. The smart phone has 3G technology, which is a very fast way of connecting to the internet, and allows you to constantly stay connected with the people you need to. Whether it be through emails, text messages or phone calls, the 3G connectivity will speed up any process that requires the internet.

The dell smart phone is currently scheduled to be released in Brazil and China, and no information has been given as to whether it will ever be available in Europe or America, but many people speculate that it all depends on how the sales figures are in China and Brazil.

The smart pone is going to be available on the China mobile network, in China, and in Brazil it will be available on the Claro network. It is not sure what price plans these companies will offer, but it is expected that they will start off by offering a year long contract plan, then eventually they will offer pay as you tariffs. So unfortunately for now, if you live in Europe of America, you are going to have to wait for any details of release this side of the world, but people are pretty confident they will make an appearance over here at some point with some great deals for the Dell Mini 3 on contract and Pay As You Go.
