Nokia N8The Newly announced Nokia N8 is set to take over from the Nokia N97 as Nokia’s leading smartphone. We have to say that it looks very sleek indeed. Although the lack of a qwerty keyboard may but some of the old school phone users off a little bit. The Nokia N8 sports a 3.5 inch multi touch screen, thanks to the Symbian OS upgrade to version 3.0. This will also allow multitasking, and with 256MB of Ram it should make light work of running the multiple apps that you are likely to download.
But that is not the best part of the N8. We think that the deal breaker is the rather impressive 12 megapixxel camera with support for HD recording. What’s more you can even play the footage that you capture back via the HDMI port that the phone is also equipped with. For a full Nokia N8 review check out the link mentioned here. From what we gather, this looks to be the vbery best handset that Nokia has to offer. It is due to be released later this year and although Apple is now the king of style, Nokia is showing that it will not lie down without a fight.

Cyber-ShotThe Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot Mobile Phones

Sony has long been the king of consumer electronics. Forever pushing the limits of technology forward, their company has produced the world’s best entertainment systems, televisions, gaming consoles, music players and even handheld devices. The Sony VAIO computer series is also some of the most fashionably powerful devices on the market. It comes as to no surprise that their line of high-resolution digital cameras, the Cyber-Shot series is among the best in the world.

The Sony Ericsson Connection

With Sony venturing into the mobile phone industry, it comes naturally that they are bringing their existing technology into the mobile phone industry. The Sony Walkman, which is the first line of electronic devices that allowed for portable music playback, has been given its own line of mobile phones that focus on music playback with radio functions. The same goes for camera technology. With most mobile devices equipped with cameras and other functions, Cyber-Shot has found its way to be integrated into the line of Sony Ericsson mobile phones.

Why the Cyber-Shot Surpasses other Devices

Sony is not a specialist in photography. That is reserved for industry giants such as Nikon and Canon, yet the Sony Cyber-Shot still packs some of the best hardware for digital cameras. This is due to the vast resources of Sony and their dedication to pushing the limits of technology. Cyber-Shot phones and cameras are known to be user-friendly, easy to use, easy to maintain and most of all, able to capture good images consistently.

Cyber-Shot in the Mobile Industry

Several models in the Sony Ericsson K-series incorporate Cyber-Shot technology. Mobile phones K800, K810, K550, K850 and K770 all have this. The new Sony Ericsson C-series is dedicated to Cyber-Shot mobile phones; this line will have far more excellent image capturing software and technology.

Mini LED FlashMost professional photographers would tell you that if you do not have good lighting, you will not get a good picture. This is true for most images taken indoors, at night or in many areas where good lighting is not available naturally. Flash will allow you to get images with faster shutter speeds without sacrificing the brightness of an image.

Flash in General

Thanks to the strength of flash, lighting is easily remedied in many situations. Most point and click cameras rely on having flash in order to take good quality images. Of course, if you are taking images with your mobile phone, you cannot expect to be carrying around lighting equipment, and the flash bulb used in conventional cameras are too big to feasibly fit into a small size-dependent mobile phone. This is where LED technology steps in.

LED Helps Keep Things Small

LED, or light emitting diodes, are excellent substitutes for large flash bulbs. These diodes are able to emit strong amounts of light in a spread or focused direction, with very little power consumption and low heat generation. These features make LED lights very useful, and versatile. They can be used for creating a variety of soft ambient lights to strong, bright focused beams. As an LED flash, your mobile phone benefits from LED technology because the flash produce by the LED is strong enough for taking good pictures, but does not drain your batteries.

More About LED Flash

LED flash does not need much maintenance and should last a long as your device. Thanks to the nature of light emitting diodes, the bulbs will never burn out and would never have to be replaced. While flash does produce the same light intensity as regular bulbs, the heat output is so insignificant that it will never affect your device no matter how many times you use it.
