The new phone from LG comes with a unique twist, as it is actually built into a normal watch that you wear around your wrist. Retailing at £500, the LG watchphone is handmade, and so is only available in different batches which arrive at various times throughout the year. Go into your local phone store and ask them about it, and they should be able to tell you when more are due in.
The High Tech Gem is all controlled by either voice recognition software, or by using the touch screen. The voice recognition software is perhaps the most impressive, allowing you to simply say a phrase or command, which the phone will then pick up and follow.
For instance, if you say view messages, your phone will be able to go instantly open all your recent messages, allowing you to have easy access, particularly useful if you are tied up and do not have the time. It also means that you can use the phone whilst driving, because you can simply say call so and so, and the phone will do it. This saves you from having to use a Bluetooth device which can be uncomfortable and potentially dangerous if you fail to hear traffic.
It is worth nothing however that there are other watch phones out there on the market which can be picked up for £250 or less, but the quality of them and the fact they are not handmade may set you up with a dilemma of whether you want to purchase one or not.
