Crack for the masses? It doesn’t sound like a good thing, does it? But that’s just what the Blackberry Curve 8520 is going to be bringing our way. Until now, the Crackberry has been very much a minority market kinda thing. Suits, politicians, and the occasional president have been the mainstay of RIM’s ugly if effective range of smartphones. But the Blackberry Curve 8520 is going to be the cheapest version of the phone to date. Not cheap cheap, mind. You won’t be using this as your burner any time soon, for example. But it will definitely, as these Blackberry 8520 deals prove, open up the possibility of at least considering a Blackberry to more people than ever before. Not least, of course in the profitable pay-as-you-go market, no doubt one of the main reasons RIM have headed in this direction.

But just because this thing is cheap, you shouldn’t assume that this thing has been slap-dashed together as something RIM care nothing about. In fact, just the opposite. It not only has all the super-solid design that every Blackberry offers (these things are about as sturdy as phones get, in fact), but they’re also debuting a new piece of technology on it, so they clearly care about it. That new kit is the really smooth little optical trackpad, which replaces the sometimes-annoying trackball that’s featured on just about every Blackberry previously.

So, there we have it. Crack for you, for your kids, and for all the family… read this Blackberry 8520 review for even more details if you’re hungry for a fix.

The Samsung Blue Earth will be debuts at the Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona next week; this is Samsung first ever solar powered mobile phone. We have seen other phone manufacturers share details about their up and coming “green” phones, however the Samsung Blue Earth looks like it could top the pile in the eco stakes.
Right, so what eco features can we see from this phone?
The mobile phone case will be made out of recycled bottles (similar to the Nokia Remade and Motorola W233 Renew)

  • Solar panel on the back of the phone that will recharge the phone if it is in direct sun light
  • Provided with an energy efficient charger
  • Hardware is not made out of any harmful substance to the environment, such as Brominated Flame Retardants and Phthalate and Beryllium
  • Unique interface that will provide the user with information on how many tree’s they have saved by making the effort of walking instead of driving somewhere.
  • “Eco Mode” that will adjust the backlight and screen brightness

We expect to see the Samsung Blue Earth in the second half on 2009. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with any additional information about other functionality and functions, however from what we can see it looks like it could be a real contender.
We will have further details from MWC 2009 next week including Samsung Blue Earth reviews and videos.

The recently launched Blackberry Thunder 9500 is probably one of the most anticipated releases of this year and is said to be the only believable rival for the iPhone. I have to say that with WiFi, GPS, 4G support, media player support from iTunes to Windows Media Player, a 3.2 mega pixel camera and a completely touch screen user interface it’s not hard to see why people are so excited about this phone. I’ve read a lot of Blackberry Thunder 9500 reviews and most seem to be very positive and it seems that a lot of people are ready to iPhone to be knocked off their prime position and I think Blackberry should be the ones to do it.
I’ve noticed a lot of preparation and talks for the Blackberry Thunder deals has been going on and I think there will be a lot of them available as Christmas approaches. It also appears as though the Blackberry Thunder contract phone will be available for free on most networks. I’ve also noticed that mobile phone deals in general are getting better as Christmas approaches and I think we’ll all be in for a surprise as to what we can actually afford this year – a good surprise.
Overall, the Blackberry Thunder is a great phone and I think it’ll do very well in terms of sales this year and next and I can’t wait for its official release. I’ve seen a recent Blackberry Thunder video review and it appears as though this phone is going to be as good as we all thought. If you’re interested in this phone then I’d suggest you watch the video because it’ll give you a better idea of what’s available and how this phone can help your personal and business lives.

The brand new Blackberry Storm is a great phone which offers business and personal users features which are high spec and high quality. The phone is equipped with high speed internet capabilities as well as GPS, a media player and a 3.2 mega pixel camera. This phone really does have everything you could possible need from a high end phone. I’ve read some Blackberry Storm reviews and most seem to be very positive, I’ve read a few comments about the phone not having WiFi but I always get confused as to why people need it when the phone has a 7.2 mbps high speed broadband connection of its own.
I really like the Blackberry Storm and I’ve seen a lot of Blackberry Storm deals available and I think that you can get the Blackberry Storm contract phone for free on most networks. I’ve always liked Blackberry phones and I think that if you’re like me and enjoy the sleek looks of Samsung phones but want something as smart as a Blackberry then the Storm will be perfect for you. I’ve also noticed that mobile phone deals in general are gearing up for Christmas so you should be able to get some pretty great deals for this phone on PAYG as well as on contract.
I really love this phone and I think a lot of people will agree that this has to be Blackberry’s best phone yet. All the features are stylish and sleek and the phone itself is even sexy looking. I’ve seen a Blackberry Storm 9500 video review which is definitely worth watching as it’ll give you an idea of what this phone has to offer and you’ll get a closer look at the features and a peek at the phone in action before you buy it. All in all, I think the Storm is a great phone and I’d recommend it to anyone.
